We want Lady’s Mile Gym to be a comfortable and friendly environment for all our members, so there’s a few rules we expect everyone to follow.
At Lady’s Mile we want all our customers be happy, safe and comfortable.
Any behaviour that is deemed unsafe or unsavoury will be met with action.
We offer our full support on your fitness journey!
There is CCTV in operation and if you are caught allowing non-members into the Gym, your membership will be suspended until you pay £5.00 day pass for everyone you let in.
We love that you look great, we want you to look great, but we ask that members remain fully clothed in appropriate attire throughout their sessions. We would like all our members to remain comfortable. No jeans or clothes with rivets as this will damage the equipment.
Do not wear flip flops or sandals. This is for your own safety.
No dirty work boots or sodden gear.
Failure to follow the dress code will result in denial of your workout.
This is no place for judgment. Don’t disrupt other members workouts, and be polite.
We have a designated PT and staff who can aid others in there safe and effective use so please refrain from disrupting other people’s sessions.
We don’t hire PTs outside of current staff so if you take advice from others, it will not be an insured endeavour. Do so at your own risk.
This includes loud and disruptive behaviour. If this is expressed to any unnecessary extent you will be asked to calm down or leave. We understand people want to work hard but we will endeavour to make sure it is not disruptive to others.
If you are not sure ask a member of staff or a designated personal trainer. If you cause damage to any of the equipment due to careless behaviour your membership will be revoked.
We understand that sometimes things happen but if you take care to ensure you understand equipment and technique then these things will not happen to you.

Please put weights back where you find them and please keep the cable area tidy. Mats should be wiped down and put away after use.
Don’t drop your weights. This is not a powerlifting gym, and we do not have a protective gym floor due to the specified equipment. There is no need to throw your weights on the floor, it will damage the weights. See first paragraph of “use the equipment properly”.
Personal hygiene is a must. Wash hands before and after gym session and wipe down equipment with the spray and cloth provided. Use a gym towel so you aren’t perspiring on the surrounding area.
Personal belongings may be found by our team, but we do not take responsibility over keeping them safe. Take your belongings with you when you leave.
No food or inappropriate drinks on the gym floor.
Only water and Isotonics. We don’t want your Protein shakes destroying our lovely new carpet.
Only rent-paying personal trainers are allowed to provide paid personal training at Lady’s Mile Gym. Anyone else isn’t insured.
Please report any equipment malfunctions, personal injuries or specific concerns to the staff immediately.
Dawlish Warren Life Saving club put a plea on Facebook on the 5<sup>th</sup> of April this year for funds to help the club after seeing their fundraising efforts suffer due to covid over the past two years, Dawlish Life Saving Club posted that they faced an uncertain future, Lady’s Mile Holiday Park and Oakcliff Holiday park owner Jason Jeffery contacted the club’s secretary and offered to help and secure the club’s future with a rolling 2-year funding agreement.
Dawlish Warren lifesaving club have been training beach lifeguards, first aiders, and children from age 7 at the Warren for over 55 years. During the summer season and busy bank holidays they provide a voluntary lifeguarding service both independently and alongside the RNLI. As well as suppling lifeguard cover for numerous open water swimming events, Triathlons and even music festivals all over the country.
Jason Jeffery owner of both Lady’s Mile Holiday Park and Oakcliff Holiday park said “we appreciate all the hard work the committee and the members do to keep the beach safe for our guests and local residents over the summer. We are proud to sponsor the club who are keeping our community safe.
Club Chairman Gareth Jones said “Our club is thrilled with our new sponsors, their community values reflect our own and have enabled us to invest in vital lifesaving equipment to help train new lifeguards and save lives on our beautiful beach and the local area.”
