We believe that all of us have a responsibility to care for and protect our planet. That’s why we partnered with Play It Green to improve our sustainability practices and have a more positive impact on the world.
We aim to plant 151 trees each month to repair the planet and more than balance the carbon footprint for each team members personal lives and all of their work-related travel.
The trees are planted in Madagascar by the Eden Reforestation Project, helping to restore some of the world’s most vital ecosystems.

Lady’s Mile support HITS throughout the year, with food donations and, as a result, have also donated soft toys to HITS (Homeless in Teignbridge Support) to give to families with children that may have very little this Christmas.
Thank you Lady’s Mile and Tracy Scranage. Holiday Park manager Jason said: ‘We are a family run and family fun holiday park, we know many more families will be facing tough times this Christmas, because of the pandemic. We just wanted to do something for children this Christmas, so we have donated £500 worth of toys for HITS to give as Christmas presents to children who might not get much.”

Lady’s Mile was happy to be the headline sponsor of the 2019 Teignmouth Airshow. This was an amazing event for Teignmouth and the surrounding areas. Most importantly, it brings in trade for our local businesses.
A once impossible dream became reality in 2019 thanks to the continued, overwhelming support of local residents, businesses and a committee of volunteers who dedicated themselves to this incredible event.
Lady’s Mile Holiday park is proud to have supported the Exeter Chiefs Women’s team. As a family holiday park, we are excited to see the Exeter Chiefs family grow, and, most importantly, we hope the women inspire local girls to take up such a great sport.
Setting up a new team such as this…needs support and Exeter Rugby Club are indebted to the backing it has received from kit sponsors.
The Stanley Beau Foundation supports children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. From a child’s diagnosis, through illness and beyond. They support families in so many ways.
Alongside the charity, we help to provide free holidays to families of children with short lives. We also provide these for recently bereaved families as well.
Claire Twitchin and Elizabeth Borbon are swimming the English Channel from Dover to France in September to raise money for MENCAP. They will be part of a relay team, The Mencap Marvels, doing it tough for one day in service of others who do it tough for their whole lives. They will be swimming in skins (no wetsuits), through the night and in whatever conditions ate thrown at them!
A note from Claire:
We are both delighted that Lady’s Mile and Oakcliff are sponsoring us and supporting our fundraising for MENCAP, helping more people with a learning disability to shine.
The swim is scheduled for early September.
